Kelly Fitzgerald - VP, Grassroots 

Kelly Fitzgerald is a nationwide advocacy leader with 15+ years of experience in government relations, patient advocacy, and alliance development. Experienced in lobbying and grassroots on both the state and federal level, she brings a unique and wide-ranging perspective to the traditional notion of what an advocacy campaign can be.

Joining the Alliance Group after a long, productive history in the nonprofit health care sector, she is passionate about helping others find their voice. Along with her direct policy work, she advises advocates and organizations how to harness the power of grassroots and social media. Utilizing advocacy, strategic messaging, online campaigns and targeted social media, she helps advocates affect change through both the legislative and regulatory process. 

She is a member of the Church Hill Association and serves on both the Community Board at Childsavers and the Executive Board of the Cancer Action Coalition of Virginia (CACV). She holds a B.A. in Political Science and makes her home in Church Hill, an historic Richmond neighborhood.
